Kung Fu - The Complete First Seasonby VariousAll of the episodes and commentary for the amazing first season of Kung Fu, staring David Carradine. I remember watching this series when it aired in the seventies. In watching the pilot and episodes again, I am reminded that much of my interest in Eastern philosophies and teachings was probably seeded with this series. The premise, the production, the acting, the photography, and the writing have all stood the test of time quite well. If anything, many of the lessons offered by this series are even more relevant today. David Caradine called it an "Anti-revenge television series". Just imagine if we could reduce or remove revenge from personal and cultural relations. There is much to learn here. Definitely worth a look by renting or buying. DVD reviewed by
