My parents have had a cabin there since 1965. There are hundreds of miles of marked trails which can be used for bicycling, off road vehicles, and snowmobiles in the winter, the Green lake snowmobile club can supply trail maps, but all the major trails have permanent trail markers.

Green Lake has 3 provincial campsites. Little Arrowhead is my favorite because of beach front sites, sunset view is a nice much larger campsite, both with boat launches close by. Emerald bay is better suited for the basic camping experience with a poor beach and not so good for swimming or boating. There is a day use area within easy driving distance.
