Duck in Slough

Acrylic on Canvas - 24" by 20"

This painting was inspired by a slough on the farm my grandparents homesteaded in Alberta. I intended to give the painting to my uncle Harry for Christmas, but my Ann says I can't sell or give away the painting, arguing that my uncle already has the slough. I painted Long Beach Sunset for Harry instead, given that Alberta is decidedly short on ocean views.
